New Ross, Aug 8 -- Thomas Lee Whorley, 78, resident of this community the past 60 years died at his home in New Ross at 3:15 o'clock Sunday morning. Born May 3, 1865 in Roanoke, VA he was the son of William and Thursa Ann Whorley. He was married Jan 25, 1894 to Sarah O. Denoon. One son, Glenn A. Whorley, now of Milwaukee, was born to the union. Mr. Whorley was a member of the New Ross Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. Robert Hall in charge. Friends who may pay thier respects after 3 p.m. Monday are asked to omit flowers.
